THE HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF MEDICAL RESONANCE THERAPY MUSIC®
Medical Media Group: This concerns the empirical objective scientific investigation of the microcosm of music.

Peter Hübner: And concerning the inner subjective investigation of the microcosm of music, here I could and can draw on our great European and of course also German classical music tradition and mentally, in particular, I could and can draw on the tradition of Yoga and meditation, as they have been passed down and preserved over the last millennia in India – a spiritual tradition, which, as we know today, originally stems from Europe.

1983 In Africa, together with
the director of the President
of Kenya’s music commission,
Prof. Dr. Omondi (picture 1)
and the leader of the Institute
of Musicology from the University
of Nairobi (picture 1),
Peter Hübner begins to set out
the initial guidelines
for a research project
for the harmonical evaluation
of Africa’s traditional
music culture.

And concerning rhythm, I have without doubt learned the most of the Africans, who know how to deal with rhythm harmonically in a very unspoiled way and here I think in particular of the Pygmies, still living totally secluded in the African bush.
And since this rhythmic feeling in the widest form was communicated by the Africans to South America too, I received many impulses also from here.
So as you see, the roots of Medical Resonance Therapy Music® are spread all over the world – as far as they do not have to be located in consciousness itself.

And also, for instance, when I buy computers in USA for using them in my research of the microcosm of music, I inevitably fall back upon the mental potential of those who have developed it and I draw on it.

Medical Media Group: After these questions concerning the origin of the Medical Resonance Therapy Music® let us now have a look at the acceptance of this new branch of medicine: When I look at the many so far conducted research studies, than it seems to me, that the serious medical interest appears to be strongest in Europe and, in particular, in the countries of the former Soviet-Union; am I right here?

Peter Hübner: You have to differentiate this.
Through the nuclear disaster of Chernobyl the population affected – and as a result the medical doctors – were extraordinarily brought on to the scene there and urgently needed help, also from outside, that is, from other countries.

So, as a result, in the beginning the leading pharmaceutical companies of the world bustled there, and I know that leading employees of a whole lot of important German medical research institutes traveled there with the basic attitude: “Let us have a look, kids, don’t worry, we will handle that!”

But the conventional medicine and traditional pharmaceutics with their chemical products did not work there. After some time the experts from abroad had to leave again, in all silence and modesty. And they took the shocking revelation with them, that here, regarding this nuclear disaster, they were unable to achieve anything medically worth mentioning.

And in the end then they only came "armed" with chocolate and gave it as a present to the severely sick children. The medical doctors in the region hit by the nuclear disaster had heard about Medical Resonance Therapy Music® due to sensational investigations at the Institute of Endocrinology in Kiev. Through the publisher Aar Edition they established contact with us and asked for our help, for making their own research.

In a report

Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine as well as of the Academy of Sciences of New York, is one of the most significant hormone researchers of the CIS – Commonwealth of Independent States – and directs since two decades the Laboratory for Neurohormonal Control of Human Reproduction at the famous Research Institute for Neuroendocrinology in Kiew.
Medical Media Group: Which means, that you put CD-players, headphones and CDs at their disposal.

Peter Hübner: And at the medical faculty of Minsk University they started with research, which then expanded more and more and in the meantime – after 5 years – has grown to a dimension that over 70 medical doctors from different medical areas are permanently dealing with investigations in the context of applying Medical Resonance Therapy Music®.

Medical Media Group: But in the course of time – starting from the Institute of Endocrinology in Kiev, Ukraine, a country that was hit by the nuclear disaster in the same manner as Belorussia – a more and more expanding team of scientists emerged also in the Ukraine, conducting research in the most different areas of medicine.

Peter Hübner: Many of the research results are published and you can gather them from the publications in the internet. Further medical investigations are underway and here I am interested in particular in the results of a longer investigation dealing with the specific breakdown of radioactive contamination and radiation in the organism of the persons affected.

Due to mishaps during the scientific-technical coordination these investigations had to be started over again, but nevertheless the results achieved so far give a lot of hope to the scientists, as far as I have heard.

Here, with the help of the harmony laws of the microcosm of music, possibly a very fundamental help for the victims of the nuclear disaster of Chernobyl could becoming apparent, because the increased breakdown, or excretion respectively, of radioactive substances would get a hold on the problem in its core.

Probably it was the desperate medical situation in connection with the nuclear disaster of Chernobyl which primarily gave rise to the many researches conducted with Medical Resonance Therapy Music® in the Ukraine and in Belarus.

And of course this triggered off a greater wave of interest on the side of the physicians in Germany too; for, as you may know, since many years children affected from the nuclear disaster of Chernobyl come to Germany in great numbers, in order to relax from the disaster, and in this respect people in Germany receive practical information about the dramatic effects of this disaster.
